Writing
Students develop their writing skills by engaging in the writing process:

- Informational/Research
- Opinion
- Mini lessons based upon students' needs focusing on both content and structure
- Conferencing to strengthen voice, organization, and mechanics
- Assessed/Scoring based on rubrics
Math
Eureka Math focuses on developing:
- Math Fluency, Concept Development, and Practice
- Students engage in fluency warm-up sessions, lessons introducing vocabulary, and use of problem-solving strategies
- Mid-Unit Assessments and End-of-Unit Assessments given
- Supplemental Activities will also be provided
